KAMADOSAN DENKI is an electric rice cooker that uses an earthenware pot, which is ideal for cooking rice, instead of the metal pot used in standard rice cookers. Cooking rice in earthenware pots requires excellent heat control and time management, and “KAMADOSAN DENKI” is fully automatic, producing delicious rice without any fuss. Earthenware pots are traditional Japanese handcrafts and integrating them with manufactured products is a difficult process requiring precision. Siroca examined the material, processing, and structure for over four years before developing the first electric rice cooker that incorporates a real earthenware pot.
