The design of this device was inspired by a traditional Chinese ink-stone (a stone mortar for the grinding and holding ink). The curved surface is bent towards the inside to avoid spilling when users add salt to the product. The operation light is designed in the shape of the brand logo, making the product more dynamic while reminding users if salt is lacking or the product malfunctions. In addition, the control panel at the front of the product optimizes user experience, making it easier to operate.
