Tianjin 311 Photography Studio was created in the space of a former factory building that had been constructed in red brick and steel and stood 8 meters high. The designer respected the historical character of the old building. Using processes of deconstruction and reorganization, the interior was transformed into a complex space that meets the multiple demands of the photography studio. Old and new blend, giving the old building new vitality in a light-filled space that is a natural evolution of the former factory.
