The motion-based door lock system allows users to unlock doors easily and quickly with their smartphones rather than with the physical knob. Designed for family members of varied ages, the door lock can be customized through six modules to meet the specific user's needs. If a user has difficulty using their hands because of disabilities or carrying a bag of groceries, they can tap a security pattern with their foot in the range of a built-in beam projector to release the lock. The device can also be linked to an app for access to additional features, such as face recognition, fingerprints, motion, and passwords.
