When designing a publication of the German basic law, a playful handling of the plain articles was important. The modern, colorful and valuable design helps to make the legal text more accessible and tangible. The playful, typographical use of article numbers turn them into a designed guidance system. The illustrations visualize selected content and charmingly support the structure as well. 
The unseen black-and-white photos from 70 years of German history highlight episodes from the past seven decades and function as a timeline.
