The design style of this project is difficult to define. It is simple and modern but with historical charm as well. It looks western but also includes Asian elements, creating a combination of delicacy and roughness. The designers took western minimalist style as the base, adding a subtle Asian Zen style in the details. Synthetic materials were replaced with natural products, such as mineral paint, masonry walls, and weathered wood. The design combines the cultural characteristics of the East and West to create a modern house.
