This electric mobility scooter concept is aimed at not only expanding a user's range of activity but also inspiring them to go wherever they want—be it on paved asphalt or gravel trails. The YNF-01 is built for all pathways, including "off-road," equipped with four-wheel independent suspension, large tires, a wraparound bucket seat, and bold styling and colors. The Yamaha designers felt that injecting "fun" and "excitement" into a mobility aid—often ignored in this type of vehicle—would make it attractive to anyone and destigmatize it from being perceived as a support for persons with limited mobility.
