The Moiré Mirror is both: reflector and light source. Hidden behind the one-way-mirror is a lamp which becomes visible once you grab a second disc hidden behind the glass which can be rotated. The backside of the mirror and the second disc have a lightproof pattern added to them which darkenthe mirror in a certain position. With this approach of overlaying it is not only possible to shade the light, but also to control the optical effect.
