The redesigned iPod shuffle has an enclosure machined from one single piece of aluminium, making it sturdy enough to use it virtually anywhere, whether on the way to work or while engaging in athletic activities. Thanks to its practical clip, it can easily be attached to the user’s clothing and is thus operational at any time. The player is controlled via the ring button, which takes up nearly the entire front side of the device. Also included is the innovative “VoiceOver” technology, which informs the user of music title and artist at the push of a button and also notifies when the battery has to be recharged. This enables the user to navigate through the music collection and to compile playlists without ever having to look at the player. With a single battery charge, the player is capable of up to 15 hours of music playback. It has a memory capacity of 2 GB and thus offers storage space for several hundred songs. The device is available in the colours silver, blue, green, orange and pink, all of which appear highly brilliant due to the polished housing.
