Equo is a LED desk lamp of minimalist design with a discreet counterweight construction for feather-light adjustability. The body of the lamp is made of aluminium alloy to ensure good thermal resistance and minimal body weight, so the user needs only one finger to adjust the arm position. A robust angle joint makes it possible to position the head of the lamp at any angle. Brightness can be adjusted gradually just by running a finger along the touch-sensitive control strip located on the stem of the lamp. Alternatively, a particular light setting can be chosen simply by touching this strip at a given point. Equo employs optical lenses that maximise light transmission while projecting a smooth and even light. The LEDs can last for 50,000 hours and consume only six watts. Equo can also be equipped with an optional sensor to detect if anyone is present for further energy-saving.
