The Horn Stand is an acoustic amplifier made of silicone and conceived for use with the iPhone or the iPod touch. Its design integrates elements of a gramophone, thus highlighting its functionality in a playful way. The acoustic horn amplifies sound by up to 13 dB, relinquishing the need for an external power supply. The flexible, washable material is wear-resistant and therefore suitable for transport. The amplifier functions simultaneously as a stand for placing the iPhone or iPod in a vertical or horizontal position. An opening allows a charging cable to be connected.
