AIR is an antenna integrated radio system for mobile communications that meets market requirements and demands for easily installable and maintainable products. The new system integrates two functions in one device through a combination of antenna and radio. The result is a product with a strong identity which, due to its reduced design, does not appear obtrusive in the respective environment, whether urban or rural. The system was developed to improve and communicate cutting-edge technology, to optimise efficiency of installation as well as to facilitate maintenance. Experimental studies have confirmed that the time needed for installation is reduced by about 30 per cent, and that performance efficiency is significantly improved.
