This patient monitor presents a new concept for allowing a reduction of necessary air slots. Due to innovative display technology featuring printed foil and transparent resin, the monitor’s surface is resistant to strong chemical disinfectants. These attributes reduce the potential for bacteria to settle. The configurable user interface displays the patient’s vital signs and is equipped with a dark front to increase contrast and readability.
