The TrueBeam delivers radiotherapy treatments for the oncology market, whereas the TrueBeam STX is configured for radiosurgery. Each system is composed of a C-shaped gantry containing the linear accelerator while also supporting integrated imaging technologies. A floor-mounted stand supports the gantry and provides precision rotation control. The patient couch is also a precision system for accurately positioning the patient over the course of multiple treatments. The newly designed modulator cabinet houses critical control components for the system. These main components function in an isolated treatment room, with control of the procedure conducted in a separate area.
