This video otoscope is a handheld medical device which allows digital viewing of the ear, nose or throat during diagnosis. An image of the examined region is shown instantly on a built-in monitor and can be “frozen” in order to subsequently make a careful diagnosis. Furthermore, the device can be connected to an external display or computer to provide simultaneous access to the images or to save the data in electronic medical records.
