The objectives pursued in the development of this racing bike are clearly visible in the result: the Aeroad CF is a stylish, streamlined model of aerodynamic shape. Riders profit by saving energy when cycling, for the bike’s features are achieved through a slim, ovalised tube design, an hourglass-shaped head tube, wing-shaped fork blades, and a low-set rear triangle. However, since far more is expected of an aero racing bike than just a streamlined design, the development of the Aeroad CF attached significant importance to factors like rigidity, weight, comfort, safety and flexibility. Even the trail is individually adjustable. Special basalt fibres in the fork and seat post provide improved absorption of vibration, and the post itself is fully adjustable within a range of 20 mm.
