The Envy 14 Beats Edition is a notebook developed in collaboration with U.S. rapper Dr. Dre for true-to-original reproduction of music. Bass-heavy pieces of music in particular are reproduced with clear sound, thanks to the Beats Audio technology, and the high-performance headphones supplied with the notebook enhance the sound experience. The precision-crafted chassis of the 14.5” notebook consists of a roughened metal alloy; the work surfaces are rubberised, thus offering a comfortable tactile experience. The rubber lip surrounding the display and the tight-fitting hinges give the notebook a robust appearance. Through its characteristic black-and-red colour scheme and the red backlit keyboard, it addresses a young user group attaching importance to good audio properties in a mobile device.
