The iVDR (Information Versatile Disk for Removable Usage) is a portable data storage medium using the cartridge standard. Its surface is fashioned from scratch-resistant stainless steel. The cartridge has an interchangeable labelling card on the front where the file name and additional information can be noted down. The host computer provides power to the SATA hard disk so that no additional AC adapter is required.
