This cartridge-filling system for the Accu-Chek Insight insulin pump enables automatic filling of the related cartridge. The insulin is drawn from a conventional insulin vial (10 ml) and filled into an insulin pump cartridge (2 ml). In contrast to manual filling, this automatic process is almost air-bubble free, and it also requires less time. The main design focus is on simple and intuitive use, allowing the user to immediately grasp how the device works. The status LED displays information about the current filling process as well as the battery-charge level.
