The MicroDrive barrier features a self-contained, compact design. The angular connection of the boom, measuring up to 6 meters in length, allows for a lower construction of the housing. Moreover, it enables the control unit, which is accessible from all sides, to be built at an ideal working height for service technicians. Modules like the dual arm, the display area and the underride guard have been consistently integrated into the design. The foam-covered light bar also acts as impact protection: boom movement is immediately stopped when objects are encountered.
