The Pegacasa P-005 table lamp merges traditional Taiwanese handicraft with modern cutting-edge technology. Its aesthetics are defined mainly by the traditional tenon joint that serves as a connector system. The lamp is assembled by simply inserting the wooden tenon of one module into the slot of the other. And when the two modules are disassembled, the lamp can also be used as a portable unit. The light-bearing module is made of carbonised bamboo to underline the lamp’s natural appeal, in contrast to the stand, which is made of fine aluminium. The ultra-slim LED module convinces with its low power consumption and wide-field lighting.
