Zera’s design concept uses the colour contrast of the compact table top and also makes the construction of the joint connection visible, as the star-shaped legs penetrate the table top. The table legs and crossbeams have been worked in such a way that they can be assembled by slot-in connection. Despite all its minimalist ascetic form and static clear lines, this out- and indoor table is an expressive object. The modern material is brought together with the connections traditionally used for wooden structures, such as cross-halving and mortise joints.
