The Eppendorf Tube 5.0 mL has been designed for the simple and safe processing of medium-sized sample volumes. Up to now, when working with sample sizes from 0.5 to 2.0 ml, users had to handle large conical screw-cap tubes that were both impractical and prone to contamination. The newly developed tube version includes a well-conceived assortment of matching system accessories with which all lab procedures can be executed safely and ergonomically.
