The concept for this store is based on an industrial atmosphere aiming to establish a link to the nearby harbour. Three-dimensional lattice structures made of untreated steel serve as hanging space. Backlit they appear to “ramble” across the walls. Plywood with a rough, textile surface was used as the base material for the furniture. The sales room is separated from the storage area by a “radiant color” cube with three fitting rooms and a space for employees. Lighting is provided by a 16 metre long light tube and two chandeliers made of fluorescent tubes.
