Gears are often shifted under heavy load, creating enormous strain on the chain. The new X9e and X10e chain models for 9- and 10-speed derailleurs were developed exactly for this kind of heavy-duty use. Specially designed inner and outer plates, together with particularly strong pins, provide high tensile strength. The X-Bridge technology guarantees optimal performance, even when shifting under load, while preventing the enormous forces from being transmitted to the pin collar.
