The function of this nutcracker is actuated by the piston which is spring-loaded. The piston can move freely inside the housing, and cracks the nutshell upon impact. The nut is simply placed in the opening and the shutter closed. A single sweeping downwards motion is sufficient to cause the mobile piston inside to crack the shell. Lucky Punch is operated with one hand and little effort.
