The design of this wall-mounted air conditioner took as its inspiration the Japanese folding fan “Ogi”. The aerodynamic flap design modifies the air stream to create a pleasant indoor environment. Air is drawn in at ground level and then fed up towards the ceiling, thereby reaching the furthest corners of the room. In contrast to conventional air conditioners, there is no noticeable draft. The use of a new refrigerant reduces environmental impact and cuts energy consumption.
