The design of the KTM 690 reveals as many technical details as possible, for the number of covers has been reduced. This approach reflects an attempt to return to the logic of a real “naked bike”. Exemplary for this strategy is the completely external sub-frame of the motorbike: it was specifically designed to do without covers and spoilers.
