Ascent is a new type of lamp, which can be switched on and dimmed in an unconventional way: this is achieved by sliding the bell-shaped, black aluminium lampshade up and down along the shaft in a continuous motion. The dimmer, which is integrated in the shaft, features an electronic circuit that controls the microprocessor. The lamp is available with either an anchor bolt for table mounting or with a base.
