Satinwood is a material that can be used for both interior and exterior facades, wall coverings and furniture. The burning of targeted areas of the surface seals it and protects the wood cells from pests, mould, water and weathering. Charring of the wood’s surface creates a satin effect which shimmers from black to silver. The feel of the wood is typical of the structure and grain of the wood used.
