The InsuPad improves insulin absorption by warming the injection area after the insulin has been injected. The disposable window, consisting of a plastic bracket and a plaster, is connected to the battery-powered heating element. The unit is then attached to the body using the plaster. By opening the disposable window, an area of skin is revealed into which the insulin is injected. The heating element is automatically activated by closing the disposable window again. The pad is water-resistant and can be worn for an entire day.
