Opera Phenix is a high-content screening system for cellular phenotyping. A phenotype is the sum of all visual characteristics of a cell. With the aid of this system, biochemical processes can be reliably classified within a very short time. The device is used in foundational research in order to find out more about the formation of cancer cells and thus contributes to the development of effective treatment approaches.
