The AQ510 is a wind measuring instrument for detailed examination and prognoses of wind conditions at a specific location. It checks the suitability of the location for installing a wind turbine. For this purpose the instrument analyses wind speed, wind direction and turbulence in five metre intervals at a height of 40–200 metres. The measuring device and containers are neatly subdivided into clear segments.
