Beltone First is one of the first hearing aids that can receive audio signals directly from an iPhone. Using an app, data can be transferred from other external communication sources to the hearing aid and the volume controlled. Its complicated technical inner workings consist of a 2.4 GHz antenna that is powered by a battery cell, yet the housing is very small and unobtrusive to wear. A specially developed nano coating makes the device highly robust.
