The slim, 5” handheld computer of the BM180 series was designed specifically for the industrial sector, as well for retail, healthcare, transport and logistics, as also for field sales. Users have a number of options to choose from, which allow them to adjust the device correspondingly to the respective work environment. Alongside the built-in barcode scanner, there is for instance an MSR card reader for the retail sector, or PTT as well as VOIP functions. The mobile device is able to withstand being dropped from of a height of up to 1.20 m and meets IP67 rating requirements. A premium version offers even greater durability.
