With dimensions of approximately 158 × 78 mm and a 5.5” display, the iPhone 6 Plus achieves almost the viewing quality of a tablet. The high-quality Retina HD-display with a contrast ratio of 1,300:1 provides a high level of convenience. The standard apps have been adapted to the display size and offer more menu options in horizontal format. The case is of anodised aluminium and has rounded edges, which creates an apparently seamless unit with the glass surface of the display. In spite of the largely dimensioned display, the smartphone is only 7.1 mm thick and weighs 172 grams.
