The modular design of series 880/881 castors allows to supply wheel and brake separately to provide fast and safe assembly of castor to unit. Brake pedal and wheel can be attached tool-free. The castor series feature an interlocking gear brake instead of a conventional friction brake. It is reliable even on dirty or oily floors and protects the tyre. Dents on tyre surface after longer periods of brake actuation are prevented entirely.
