The XPS 13 was developed for mobile use. Its screen has a bezel that is only 5.2 mm wide, creating a nearly frameless effect. This type of construction gives the 13” notebook the enclosure size of an 11” notebook. The outer protective covers are made of anodised aluminium, and the palm rest with its soft-touch surface offers a pleasant tactile feel. With the backlit keyboard, the notebook is easy to use even in dim lighting conditions.
