The Shallows crystal vase showcases the surface tension of water. With its cylindrical hole in the centre, it is especially suitable for arranging a single flower or twig. The space between the hole and the outer rim of the vase features a machine-cut recess, so that the vase can be filled with water over the rim. The overflowing water creates the illusion of a water column, within which only the contour of the cylinder is visible.
