The Habitable Sculpture by architect Miguel Arruda, erected in 2010, served as inspiration for the design of the Spherical armchair. Just like the work of art, this chair is made of cork and wants to be “lived in”. An inviting stylistic idiom, the ergonomically well thought-out construction and a cover that is as warm as it is soft, tempt people to sit down. At the same time, the choice of cork as a material provides a high degree of resilience.
