Mikado controls and forms the water jet of a faucet. A mesh-like, downwardly expanding water jet pattern is created. Different spray designs have been created by adapting the geometric properties of the individual jets from slim and close-meshed to an expansive, diverging spray pattern. Due to its form, the water spray loses density as it moves downwards; thus, the perceived quality of the massage ranges from intense to pleasantly soft. The pressure-independent, constant flow rate of approx. 1.9 litres per minute proves to be resource and energy-saving.
