The analogue interaction mechanism of the “organic haptic” was developed in response to the growing user demand for intuitive methods of TV navigation. Integrated within the design of the multimodal input device r147, the advantages of button-based input and speech transmission are combined with those of a stepless, continuous navigation addressing the kernel behaviour of people and enabling a new way of perceived interaction.
