The 3R31 Prosedo prosthetic knee joint was developed for above-knee amputees, whose radius of mobility is limited to the domestic area. The knee joint features an individually adjustable hydraulic system, which gives the user improved balance during the process of sitting down. The intact side of the patient’s body is relieved considerably in the process. The use of a glass-fibre-reinforced synthetic material for the joint chassis enables a lightweight, compact and simultaneously robust design.
