No tree is used to make this eco-friendly stone paper. It consists of 80 per cent calcium carbonate and 20 per cent non-toxic resin. Neither water nor bleach is required for its production process. The CO₂ emission is lower than that of conventional paper manufacturing. Stone paper is pleasantly soft to the touch and is also naturally water-resistant. What is more, it burns slowly and is particularly tear-resistant, which makes it a durable, long-lasting product. The stone paper is photodegradable and can be reproduced without loss of quality.
