The VELUX Step Solution is suitable for large roof openings such as in atriums. The step structure consists of several rows of modular skylights. By using joint brackets between the rows, the beam width is kept to a minimum thus increasing the amount of daylight. In the case of the Step Ridgelight solution, two rows of skylights are connected at the ridge of the roof. Prefabricated flashings ensure that the connection between the rows of modules is tight and exact. Venting, smoke and heat exhaust modules can be added.
