GEN_VMT is the name of a range of acoustic panels. VMT stands for virtual material technology and is an acoustic solution made of VicPET wool, a non-woven fabric predominantly made of recycled plastic bottles. Thanks to an innovative dyeing technique, it can imitate the look of concrete, marble, wood and other materials. The generative design of this collection is based on geometric research relating to pentagonal tiling and obeys a shape grammar that makes it possible to create a variety of panels with different appearances.
