The design of the ThinkStation P340 is based on an extruded cover that encloses the components inside. The front of the chassis is characterised by the honeycombed ventilation grille and the control panel, which is situated at the top right. To draw the user’s attention to this control panel, it is recessed and separated from the ventilation grille by a bevel. Within the ventilation grille, a hard disk and a slot for an optical drive are integrated.
