The A*Live SmartSafety Tool was designed for use as a tracker for outdoor activities, while simultaneously serving as an intelligent rescue and safety system in accidents. Outdoor athletes who are in distress or need help following an accident, for example, can make a distress call manually. Alternatively, the device recognises emergencies and independently alerts rescue forces thanks to the crash detection or deadman switch functions. The device transmits the exact location of the incident. In areas without network coverage, it serves as a satellite hotspot for smartphones.
