To meet user requirements for a lightweight, easily portable laptop for use underway, the Pixelbook Go has been equipped with a magnesium chassis that is only 13 mm thick and weighs just under 1 kg. It is lighter and offers superior strength as compared to aluminium. The wavy bottom of the device has a grippable surface, making it easier to hold. Also, the user can more quickly identify the bottom by feel. The hush keys strike quietly for soft typing.
