This allows users to see the clever substructure: slim metal brackets set on an elegant steel cross base support the tabletop and give it the appearance of floating. This steel construction ensures the table is extremely sturdy even when bearing heavy loads. Thanks to the pairing with natural hardwood, the table looks warm and welcoming. All woods have been treated with water-based oils, so that slight scratches can easily be repaired even by the user.
